Unlike the previous poster, with one missed m/c your odds are NOT AT ALL increased during subsequent pregnancies. They are more the same as someone who is pregnant for the first time (1 in 5 miscarry). After 2 or more m/c then your odds do increase, but only to about 25-30%. I had some light brown spotting at 7w and am currently 12w pregnant with twins now (had a missed m/c back in May of 2009). Brown spotting is completely normal as long as it doesn’t turn into red.
