Has anyone ever read the Leven Thump Series?

I read the first two books when I was in maybe sixth grade or fifth grade. To me, it drowned on and on and on and it never really made a point. The idea was very creative, but I did not like the way Skye produced it. I thought he could do much better. When I met him, he seemed a bit… rude in a way and it shows in his writing. If I remember correctly, it has more of the magical world of Harry Potter minus the witches, wizards, and spells. But! Don’t let me discourage you as we all have different opinions!
