Has anyone ever had kidney stones causing alot of pain whilst pregnant?
my sister had the mother of all kidney stones when she was pregnant with her 3rd baby. It turned out to be 3cm in diameter (which is REALLY big) and caused her terrible pain. Unfortuntely like you, there was/is nothing they can do while you are pregnant but hopefully you will pass it naturally before too long. My sister had to have it surgically removed not too long after the birth. I don’t know if it was coincidental but she also developed Gestational Diabetes with the same pregnancy (but not her first two) so she had a double whammy poor thing! I think she used heat packs and massage as a way of pain relief because she didn’t like to take too much paracetamol whilst pregnant. Hopefully you can pass it soon or if not, the keyhole surgery is an easy procedure to get rid of it.
