I haven’t had a bad experience with the one I use (well, it’s a “federal thrift”, not technically a credit union), but I was disappointed with the credit union I was considering joining. I’m not satisfied with a fraction of a percentage interest rate on my savings account. My friend who used that credit union has had nothing but good experiences, though.
