Has anyone ever challenged, paying the BBC TV licence fee?

Remember a workmate over in Salford being challenged a couple of years ago…but he didn’t have a telly. If you have one, but ‘…er – don’t watch it’, then that holds zilch when the aerial spies zoom in on your home. Tommy had to spend £40 in mail and telephone calls (in one week) getting it into the TV licence oiks’ heads that he has not had a telly since the mid-nineties. They start to get intimidatory when they learn of people who seriously have no sets, as they presume we all love the telly nowadays. You can always move to Spain and take your Sky box/card with you – then you won’t have to pay for zilch. Sorted!

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
