Has anyone else noticed that Yahoo Answers is a good metaphor for life?
I think there is a spectrum of questions ranging from those where there is a concrete right answer to those where one is asked for an opinion and the factors that lead one to this opinion. Yahoo Answers in this respect reflects life in the range of problems people face and the way people search for answers, sometimes glossing over the difficulties posed by good arguments they don’t like. Having said that I think people do often have a desire to be genuinely informed on something that puzzles them or to have their inclinations informed by something they were not aware of.
