In the begining of the fifth season episode, “Those Lips, Those Lies,” Al is “absent” and unaware of the move to Sunday night and Maddie and Dave each attempt to sing the theme, but neither made it past a few bars. Agnes pushed Burt out, who lip-syncs the song in Al’s voice.
