Has anyone else been invited to Hyacinths candle light supper?
Yes, just the once though, Hyacinth was holding one in honour of Councillor Nugent. Emmett and Elizabeth are my aunt and uncle so my husband and I were also invited to go along but it was awful. Elizabeth, my aunt, asked for a plastic beaker because she kept spilling her coffee on the tablecloth but Hyacinth insisted a beaker would not co ordinate well with her Royal Doulton with the handmade periwinkle. Emmett, my uncle, didn’t speak much because he wore earplugs the whole time just incase Hyacinth sang. We were having a nice meal until Rose turned up and the **** tried it on with my husband. I wouldn’t recommend it …..
