I have owned and usrd some ten proteck servo over several years but now i generaly use graupner for s400 use they funcion but you get what you pay for in life and my graupner have stood the test of time over my hitec and protecks my latest plane with hs55 gave( jan 2001 to may 2001 )30 hours use slope soaring before it started the drifting pot symtons cant complain most people take 2 years to accumallate 30 hours am replacing them with grapner c241 and from experience of the past i expect a supperior life my protecs have all been put into sedate slow type s400 planes as they are now well used and showing fatigue signes but as buget type servos they worked well but they do dislike impacts nowdays any s400 600 or other types exceeding 25mph i dont use protecks as a rule they busted my pylon with sudden failures but i am perfectly happy to use them on any slow type aircraft always used jeti speed controllers originally but have moved over to kontronik with jeti found 50 amp was the best a
