Has anyone actually run the entire length of the Great Wall of China?
No, officially there are only a handful of people who’ve even walked the full length of one of the 5 walls that are included in the Great Wall. (Pre-Qin, Qin, Western Han, Jin, Ming Dynasty walls) for example in 2007 Tarka L’Herpiniere (then 26) and Katie-Jane Cooper (then 28) carried out the longest ever continual trek along the entire 4300km length of the Great Wall of China, saying this, it’s supposedly not possible now due to restrictions on movement in the far west. William Lindsey, a British man who in 1987 completed an unbelievable run from Jiayuguan (The Western terminus of the Ming Great Wall) to Shanhaiguan (What was believed to be the Eastern terminus of the Ming Great Wall) completing 2470km but this is not the full official length. Aussie Mark Sholinz made one of the longest routes but jumped between sections, and whether he actually walked every step between the sections, I do not know.
