Has anybody found daycare yet and did you chose a home setting or a preschool day care center?
I really like working for the child care center that I am at. I worked in the infant room for 1.5 years and now am the preschool 4’s teacher. I think that having your child in a center has its advantages. For one there are always people watching, staff and parents. Also there is also someone else to ask for help. With the infants, at times it can be frustrating and sometimes you need a break. In a center, you can always call on someone else to help. Just make sure that the center has an open door policy so that you can stop in any time. Make sure that they follow ratio, which you can do by dropping in unannounced and see that they have the right number of children to staff. Make sure that staff is attentive to the needs of the children. If you put your child in home daycare and the lady is sick, who watches the kids? With a center, there is always someone to take her spot. The center I work at is also a locked facility that you have to have a code to get in. So that is also something t
