Acupuncture does work sometimes on problems that you can’t see or quantify, things like lower back pain, depression etc. in other words things that can be treated by any placebo, homoeopathy, faith healing and acupuncture just to name a few. If you can get your acupuncture for free, give a try, you have little to lose, if you have to pay for it all you are doing is making certified acupuncturists rich, my suggestion would be to see a REAL doctor first. Anyone who claims acupuncture works better than as a placebo has been challenged by James Randi with an offer of $1,000,000 to prove their claims, not even certified acupuncturists have taken him up on his offer, at least homoeopaths had the courage to do so, and yes they lost.
