Has anybody ever contributed to Associated Content? Does it pay well?
I must confess upfront, however, that I haven’t posted many writings to AC. The one that pulled in a few bucks was reasonable interesting to a wide variety of people, so it made me a few bucks. The rest, nothing or next to nothing. It’s like anything else, someone has to not just like your writing, but be in search of something written about that particular topic. There seem to be a growing number of similar services, too, so I imagine they all sorta dilute each other. I do find the website easy to navigate with this one and, gotta admit, I did like the fact they were pretty upfront with users that it’s unlikely you’re going to get rich from them. Sure, the wanna lure you in, so promises and insinuated, but in a way that makes it pretty clear that while the chance of making money is there, it isn’t going to come rolling in without some time and effort being made.
