Has anybody been to Gunther Von Hagens Bodyworks exhibits?

yes I’ve been a while ago in london.. While I liked the medical exhibits very much I thought the “artsy” exhibits very tacky.I liked best the resin embedded body sections. For the posed bodies, while they are interesting I didn’t realize before I saw them the poses aren’t helpful to study the contribution of different muscles to that poses. Their contraction status is not related to the pose held and the processing of the tissue causes a lot of shrinkage artifacts. Still I thought the plastinized horse awseome. But I would not consider donating my body for this. The medical part yes, but I am not donating my body so somebody can do bad art with it.
