Has any1 ever delt with a spouse w/ a drug addiction?
My cousins’ husband had a drug problem and put her in debt with his addiction and also got her arrested because of the drugs he kept in the house. I understand you love your spouse which is why you want to help but if your spouse has not kicked the addiction he may never not even for you so don’t leave out the option of divorce. By the way after they got their divorce he went to jail for a minumum of 5 years which he is still serving and they have been divorced for 4 now and she is still paying the debts he created to pay for his addiciton. I Beat the hell out of him before he went to jail as well it didn’t pay off the debts but it made the rest of the family feel better.
No, but I delt with a boyfriend with a drug addiction and I was going to get married to him. I was even there for him when he went away to rehab, but in no time after coming home things went right back to bad. What really hearts is when you really love that person and all you want is for them to shake that bad habbit. Sometimes you have to walk away and just leave it alone or let God handle that or until they have reached ROCK BOTTOM…. I hope your situation gets better, and I do understand. Take care…
