Has any one here bought Ultrex II cookware from HSN?
About 5 years ago I bought a complete set of Ultrex II cookware from HSN, It cost over $400. Today non stick coating has totally peeled off 2 pans, But HSN on longer carries this brand because the manufacturer in no longer in business. Instead of help they tried to sell me the hot new boy on the block by Wolfgang. Where can one collect on a 75 year warranty? Just kidding, I know I am screwed here but has any one else had this problem with a HSN product. Yes, the 2 pans I have problems with both used to go in the dish washer. But the literature with the pots said this was okay to do this. The one pan a 15 inch skillet had the non stick peel completly off. That is when I contacted HSN only to find out Ultrex was no longer made. So I sanded the rest of the coating out, polished the metal through a series of different abrasives and now it is one of the best pans I have for searing steaks. .. I have ultrex cookware and I’ve had it for about 6 years and have had no problems with it. Do you p
