Has any one heard of itchy ears as a symptom of hay fever?
Absolutely! My ears itch right down in the ear canal-it drives me nuts! Pollen counts have been very high for the last couple of weeks-you can watch whats coming up if you’re in vic/nsw/sa by checking out the asthma foundation of that state’s home page (couldn’t see if the other states have counts). Remember your sunglasses if you’re outside to keep the pollen out, dry your clothes inside (or on low pollen days) avoid lawn mowing etc. You can get prescription drops that will help with your eyes (if you don’t have them already)-after grading up from normal antihistamine drops my son has been on patanol eye drops for the last 4 years-it really manages his symptoms (which are mostly eye problems) really well-last year we managed with just sunglasses, but this year has been shocking.
