Has any one else been cheated out of a promised free upgrade?
I was promised a free upgrade to Pro2009 when I purchase 2008 in August last year. No one told me there was a cutoff point for the free upgrade. I was told they intentionally do not tell customers there is a cutoff! I spent $1,270.00 last year on service agreements with Quickbooks (Enhanced Payroll, merchant services, Technical support) not including the $650.00 I paid for Pro2008 (4 seats). That is Fraud! If I had known, I would have waited one month for the new release or I would have gotten the upgrade as soon as it came out!!! I am now looking into alternative accounting programs. Has any one else been cheated out of a free upgrade and is there someone I can call for a resolution!
