Sunday bus service enhancement in Gower & Mawr Preamble Sundays especially high season are the busiest days for people accessing rural areas of Swansea. Bus services have traditionally been infrequent on Sundays due to higher costs and the limits on public revenue support usually necessary for such services. Consequently, the highly successful Gower Explorer has a modest Sunday service and there is no such service anywhere in the Mawr. Proposal: Gower Core 118 Swansea to Rhossili increased to hourly, alternately via Oxwich Bay Secondary 119 Swansea via N Gower to Port Eynon increased to every two hours Secondary 114 Swansea to Pennard via Oystermouth to run every two hours and extend to Parkmill; connect with 118 Proposal Mawr Circular route 142 to be set up on two hourly frequency between Swansea and Ammanford alternately via Llangyfelach, Felindre & Garnswllt and via Morriston, Rhydypandy & Penlle’r Castell.
