Hang on, I can teach my children according to my values and beliefs?
I wouldn’t listen to the others who tell you that you’re not teaching your kids proper values. It’s up to you to raise your children according to the way you think they should go, not what anyone else tells you is “right”. If you start trying to please everyone who disagrees with you, then you’ll never please anyone. Please yourself instead. And your kids will always come across those who don’t think the same way. Teach your kids to be tolerant and you’ll have them well on the way to being more understanding of different people than those others are. Just tell the others it’s your job to raise your children, not theirs. (j/k) Just say, “You may not believe this is right, but I do, and my family does. Your opinion may be different, but that doesn’t mean I’m wrong.
