handed violinist wanting to play in an orchestra?
In my youth orchestra we had a violinist who had a hand injury that forced him to play left-handed. It can be done, but expect questions. If you haven’t been playing long you may want to switch before it becomes too ingrained that you can’t. If you plan on pursuing violin as a career or in university you may find yourself against a wall.
