I’ve done a fair bit of research into this very thing. Periods of time that THC remains in the body is fairly cut and dry, in terms of THC being found in blood and urine tests. And there are a few ways of actually cutting down the period in which marijuana stays in your metabolism, (by up to 2 or 3 weeks) when speaking specifically about blood and urine tests. There are various opinions (medical and otherwise) about the length of time THC is found in hair. I have read anywhere between 3 months and 3 years. So unfortunately, it doesn’t look as though your test will come back as negative, if the test is scheduled for a couple of weeks time. Hair is a bit of a problem, in that unlike the bloodstream any evidence of marijuana is trapped in keratin (a fibrous structural protein that all mammals create) which is found in hair indefinitely. In other words, it’s the one test that can happen up to 3 years after your last smoke, and still be picked up. out.
