Hair Crisis – Split ends?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to get the ends to repair, so you’ll have to cut them. You can wait a while for your hair to grow longer in order to keep the length when you eventually get it cut, using the tips below to avoid the progression of the split ends. To prevent split ends from forming – 1. Before straightening, make sure your hair is completely dry 2. Keep heat products to a minimum 3.

I’ve been having the exact same problem as you 😛 I use to straighten and dry my hair everyday with no heat protection at all, when I noticed the split ends I started using heat protection but I found it had no effect on it. What I’ve been doing recently is not using the hair dryer and just letting my hair dry naturally as hair dryers are another form of heat damage. I also stopped straihtening my hair compleatly and began using a shampoo and conditioner that is for heat damaged hair. This has been a MASSIVE help, you should really try it. It gives your hair time to repair and prevent so many split ends, but I suggest you start doing this after you’ve had a hair cut as you won’t be able to see the effect because of the current split ends.
