GVdialer connects to my Google number but my call doesn’t reach the destination number. What can I do?
There might be a mismatch between your Google Voice account settings and your GVdialer settings. Google Voice now allows you to choose whether to use a PIN for safety when dialing through your Google Voice account, or take off the PIN for quick and easy access. The latest GVdialer release allows you enjoy the same flexibility. Follow these steps to adjust GVdialer according to your Google Voice account settings: If you chose to use a PIN, go to ‘My Account’ inside GVdialer, enter your Voicemail PIN correctly and check ‘Use Voicemail PIN’. However, if you chose not to use a PIN, go to ‘My Account’ inside GVdialer, and uncheck ‘Use Voicemail PIN’. Now make sure the settings on your Google Voice web account are the same. Login to your Google Voice web account, choose Settings->Phones and click ‘Edit’ next to your mobile phone number. Now click ‘Show advanced settings’.
