GSU is an upper-division university. What does that mean?

0

It means that GSU offers only junior and senior level courses leading to the completion of a bachelors’ degree. We do not offer courses at the freshman and sophomore level. An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university is required for admission, although our Board of Governors program does give credit for life experiences and can admit students with 30 or more credit hours. For admission to any of our master’s degree programs, a student must have earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Students must also meet all GSU program requirements. Additionally, GSU does offer full graduate and doctoral degree programs.
