Grey fleet – safety and pollution – how does Roadmarque® help with this?
More often than not the employer has very little or no information about the grey fleet. In some instances a lot of business miles are covered in grey fleet vehicles, and this directly contributes to the pollution footprint of the employer. On average a grey fleet vehicle is approximately 6 years old, whereas leased / company owned fleet vehicles are 2 – 2.5 years old on average. Newer vehicles pollute less and are generally safer.
