Prepaid commercial accounts need to be established before E-ZPass begins at the Peace Bridge because the green swipe cards used currently by commercial account holders will no longer be valid 90 days after E-ZPass is launched at the Peace Bridge. If a green swipe card is used now that E-ZPass has begun, the toll amount is equal to the new commercial cash rate. This will be indicated on the monthly invoicing from the Peace Bridge.
