Definition: The grand prize is the main prize being given away in a sweepstakes drawing. It usually, but not always, has the largest value of all of the prizes to be awarded. There may be more than one grand prize per sweepstakes, and the grand prize drawing may take place at a different time.Examples: Weekly prizes will be awarded each Monday, and the grand prize drawing will take place within two weeks after the sweepstakes ends.
