Grade B, C & D Fabrics are more costly than Grade A Fabrics. Does this mean that the higher price fabrics will always outperform a lesser price fabric from the standpoint of wear or fading?
Not Necessarily. There are several types of outdoor rated fabrics which include Spun Polyester, Solution Dyed Polyester, Solution Dyed Olefin, Printed Acrylic, and Solution Dyed Acrylic such as Sunbrella™ Brand Fabrics. Lloyd®/Flanders offers many Solution Dyed Acrylics in Grade A which will perform as well as many higher priced fabrics.
