Got a negative balance on credit card, do they send me a check?

This happened to me once, and they left the negative balance on the card for one or two billing cycles, then they sent a check. It probably varies between companies though. For me, the negative balance was very small so I didn’t mind leaving it on the card for a while in case I used it again. If you would prefer the refund immediately you should probably call to confirm that they send a check out as soon as possible.
