Going to be in Gummere the Week of May 17th?
Over the move-in weekend (May 16th), jacks in Gummere will automatically connect you to the campus network if you registered your computer for spring semester. Before Tuesday, May 18th at noon, all computers in Gummere will be placed on the Registration Network. At that time, summer residents will be able to register their computers so that they may remain on the campus network throughout the summer. Computers that go unregistered will remain on the Registration Network. • What happens when you move on May 23rd? If you registered your computer while in Gummere, you will be able to connect to the network using the jacks in your HCA rental without going through the registration process again. If you did not register while in Gummere — not to worry — you may register your computer at any time. • As always, connect your network cable to the jack positioned in the lower left corner of the wall mounted faceplate.
