Going to Alaska cruise, which month of the year has the most rain, during May & June or September?

We are thinking of going to 7 days Alaska Cruise either Northbound or Southbound but we are not sure which is the best month to go to avoid rain. A: September will be the coldest with the most rain, however May & June still has a chance for rain, but I’d say the best time is June, it’s the prettiest. (I take it you mean next year, otherwise, July is usually spectacular too!
