Given the impact that influenza has each year on attendance for faculty and students, how could the RISD offer flu shot clinics at school so that more students/faculty would get an annual flu shot?
Historically, RISD has offered free flu shots to employees and their spouses at each campus or facility. Due to the unavailability of the vaccine for the past two years, the district was not able to get enough doses to provide the shots. It is anticipated that the free shots will again be available to employees and spouses next season. The district does not offer free flu shots to students because of the cost.
