Given the current situation in the airline industry, is aviation/aerospace still a good career choice?
Although the industry is no doubt experiencing a downturn in the aftermath of Sept. 11, there is no doubt that for the long term aviation is still a solid career choice. The aviation and aerospace industry is an enabling foundation for many different sectors of the national and global economy, all of which demand mobility and market access. Air transportation will continue to grow — global commerce depends on it.
