Given the changes in P.L. 107-288, what flexibility do States have in assigning the DVOP & LVER Roles & Responsibilities?
The flexibility has been written into the guidance provided in VPL 11-02 signed on September 16, 2002. The primary concern is that veteran clients receive the services they need when they need them. In offices where there is sufficient staff, steps should be taken to ensure that these individuals are assigned to work within their prescribed Roles & Responsibilities.
