Being 16 can be quite difficult, and when you get older, you will think about this post with humor. You sound like a great guy, who has a lot of affection and attention to give. Guys like the chase; they are into the hunt.
The girl you are after is not tha in to you. She does not realize how awesome you are, and it seems like she just wants to friends with you. By the sounds of it, she seems to be giving you some mixed signals, which isn’t that fair. I would be interested in knowing why the other guys don’t like her. Usually where there is smoke there is fire. Perhaps she has been giving them mixed signals as well.
If you want, be friends with her, but don’t expect to take it to the next level. In time, if she wants to be more than friends, she will let you know. However, live your life and don’t wait for her. You will be surpised to see how sexy it is to have a guy who is confident and doesn’t pine away for a girl.
I have an idea when you start to express interest in another girl, her friend perhaps, she might change her tune. Your 16, don’t get too tied down. This is the time to figure out what you want in a girl.
