Drugs and weapons are illegal in Maldives. If anybody is caught with any amount of drugs or a weapon may be sentenced to jail for a period of between 5 months to 20 years. Specially on arrival to Maldives, either by Sea or Air, every individual is traced for drugs and weapons.
