Getting involved sounds like a lot of work. What are the benefits for me?
Becoming involved will provide you with so much. You will meet new people and develop friendships. If you join campus organizations, you will develop valuable skills, such as a good working knowledge of the University, leadership traits, time management, goal setting, interpersonal skills, collaboration, program planning and assessment. You can affect change, making Washington University a better place. And finally, being involved is fun!
