No. CATA professionals, like many other professions, are prepared for a specialized career in their area of expertise. Not all CATA professionals have completed the appropriate coursework and certification exit criteria required to be a CSEP-CPT (e.g. fitness applications, motivational strategies to increase client adherence, etc.)RETURN TO TABLE OF CONTENTSMaintaining My Certification – What do I have to do to keep my membership current? As a CSEP Certified Personal TrainerĀ®, you must renew your certification on a yearly basis and must attend a recertification workshop every three years. Recertification entails attendance at a 1/2 day to full day workshop. The hands-on and face-to-face experiences are deemed valuable to our members.
