Getting a widget
A widget is a stand-alone application that can be embedded in a website by the author or any user with the rights to a page (such as your profile page on a social media site). They usually take on the form of on-screen tools such as daily weather reports, clocks, stocks ticker, sports scores, etc. Widgets are mutually advantageous to both the developers of the widget and the website using the widget. The website may gain more repeat visitors as a result of the widget and the developers might gain awareness and increased audience.
