getting a Technician out to dust it for fingerprints?

All burglary complaints are assigned to a detective in the Criminal Investigations Bureau, usually by 10:00 a.m. the day following a break-in. Contact the Record Section, (810) 237-6870 and they will look up the detective that has been assigned to your case. The investigator will determine whether or not a Technician will be sent out. If possible, have a complete list of items missing, including serial numbers. Also, provide the detective with names of possible suspects. If you wish to secure your home or business, feel free to do so. If there is broken glass or other items that had possibly been handled by the burglar, try to preserve the evidence for possible future fingerprinting & set aside. Notify your investigator of this possible evidence.
