I never actually saw it rain fish, but I did see it rain itty bitty salamanders once. Plus a few tiny froggies. It happens occasionally when there is a lot of wind that small critters in shallow ponds will be scooped up by said wind and they will eventually fall down when that wind dies down. We ended up with a lot of dead, little beasties in our yard. It was rather sad. Plus pretty nasty for a few days until they all decomposed. The ants had a field day. So I imagine that small fish are also possible, if one lives sufficiently close to where fish live in shallow enough water to be scooped up by high winds and later deposited when that wind dies down. But I live far inland and the waters hereabouts are devoid of fish for the most part. So those eeny weeny salamanders and itsy bitsy frogs are about as lively as it gets. No cats or dogs either, I’m afraid, despite the way we talk.
