Generally, what is the difference between first class and business class on an airplane?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. It really depends on the particular airline. But generally, business class seats are wider than and are given more leg room than coach seats, while first class seats are wider and are given more leg room than business class seats. Sometimes first class and business class use the same seats, but give better service (meals on real china, etc.) to first class passengers. Sometimes, first class seats recline into beds. That’s rarely a perk in business class. Generally, try to fly business class. The leap in comfort is considerable over coach. But the leap in comfort from business to first class isn’t so great, and the cost/value may not be worth it.
