Yes, NCA is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. Fees paid by adoptive parents as well as any fundraising efforts throughout the year cover agency expenses. What is your licensure information? Nightlight Christian Adoptions has been licensed by the California State Department of Social Services since 1959. Nightlight’s Homestudy and Birthparent counseling services are available to families within Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura Counties.
