The general answer is whichever is closest to you. In addition to the Embassy in Islamabad, there are three Consulates in the country; Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. It is usually best to contact the Embassy or Consulate nearest you, since that office will be in the best position to offer you help or information. We strongly encourage you to check the list of Consulates in Pakistan before sending the Embassy an email. If your question involves a different consular district, the Embassy can respond to your e-mail only with information on how to contact the appropriate Consulate.
