Fried Kitten is correct. Not many. Only about 50% of men over 40 (in the USA) obtain vasectomies. That is considered far below Europe and Canada. About one half million men seek vasectomies each year in the USA. Only about 10% of them will be under 25. As you can see, the surgery is considered uncommon for men under 25. I only know about a dozen men that said they did so. I am somewhat of an exception because I hang with people that do not like children. That is such a shame when you consider how cheap a vasectomy is. I had my surgery when I was 21. I have no children. A 30 day waiting period helps to prevent frivolous lawsuits. Some states require it. Some insurance companies require it. Even with that there are men who file lawsuits claiming that they did not know it was permanent, or that they did not understand that they could no longer have children.
