A. Transgrow Bottles contain a CO2 enriched atmosphere. CO2 is heavier than air. Therefore, tilting the open bottle will cause the CO2 to run out. Always hold the bottle upright when inoculating or whenever the cap is off. Excess moisture, if present, can be removed with a sterile swab; also while holding the bottle upright.
