Gay Business Network – Does it Exist?
Does a network of gay business people really exist? I think it is more myth than based on any hard facts but there are an increasing number of so called gay friendly companies out there. Of course it will always help to hit it off with someone and business is no different. Everyone has or will experience that during their lifetime and with the world in its current economic state of flux then one must use every advantage, no matter how small. Be it a phone chat or a face to face meeting you can sometimes tell for sure that someone is attracted to you and obviously if they are of the same sex it’s a pretty safe bet that they are gay. However, I have on occasions often wondered but never been sure and it isn’t really a question you can just go straight ahead and ask. But that said if you do come across some warmth towards you beyond the normal cordiality of business life then grasp it with both hands is my advice.
