FY FAQ #8: Youve mentioned before about the whole debate about subs and dubs in anime. How do you feel about the voices for both in Fushigi Yuugi?

I only love subbed versions. I don’t know why but I really dislike dubbed versions (except for Rurouni Kenshin which I got used to and I think has good dubbing direction). I do have the DVDs with both English and Japanese audio with subs but I only listen to the Japanese version. I like to hear the original voices, makes me feel more that it’s really the characters who are talking.
