Frozen chicken breasts: Treasure or poison?

In my experience, frozen chicken breasts have been pretty bland. Not exactly poison but not exactly gourmet eating either. The exception to this are the organic chicken breasts I get from Trader Joe’s, all of which have managed to remain tasty even after freezing and thawing.
